There is also codewalr.us that is fairly active for TI calcs (mainly Axe, xLIBC and BASIC, though). Or there is TI-BASIC Developer and TI-Planet  but the latter is French

Yeah, there isnt enough traffic on this site for me to check in with any kind of frequency. May I suggest going to Cemetech.net or Omnimaga.org for your questions?

It bothers me that all the last stuff that happened on this site was September of last year...

unfortunately, that is used to help prevent bots from attacking. a good example of this would be Spud's forum.
right now, this verification is all we have.

I find the verification slightly annoying. Every time I post.

Anyway, I don't want to simplify too much the homepage, because we need to be seo compliant and explain to boot what this website is talking about.

ok thank you Luxen. I think we could do something like this with html+css, why use flash? Anyway, what we could do is maybe to publish recent post and recent q&a on homepage...

Introductions
« on: February 05, 2013, 04:34:43 PM »
I'll go ahead and start an intro thread, since I know there are bound to be some members coming from various sites.

I'll go ahead and start us off,

I am HOMER-16 from Omnimaga (and occasionally I'm found around Cemetech). I'm more of a computer programmer than a calc programmer and I know C/C++, Java, some Z80 ASM, and I am currently learning Python and x86 ASM.

And to all of us affiliated with Omnimaga, let it rain peanuts!

Hey,

Nice to see you here.

It's time for me to talk a bit about me too :D

I'm Thibault Duponchelle from France. I live near Nice (near Marseille or Monaco or Cannes for who don't know Nice).

I started programming with TI-BASIC long time ago. After having stopped my studies during 5 years, I restarted an engeneering school (IT sciences) and I'm currently finishing it :)

I am co-developer and co-maintainer of TilEm2 with Benjamin Moody.
I do some (cool  ;D) assembly projects too for ti83 and or ti83plus/ti84plus.
My preferred languages are C, assembly and python.

All my work is open source, and I always help others when I could (and often that's other people which help me).

I hope you will enjoy this place, I will update the website as soon as possible to add homemade tutorial, code review, programs review or news.

But you can simply go here to discuss :)

Hi, I am persalteas (Omnimaga, Cemetech, Espace-TI), also known as P-Rex (TI-Planet) or Persaltosaurus-Rex (Tout-82).

I program only on z80 calcs  :P
TI-Basic, Celtic with DoorsCS, Grammer.

I register here because:
- I like all contra-sh's programs, especially when he make them compatible to TI-82 stats :) He is rare, he is the one who knows how to make programs for the 82 stats :D
- I will be looking for assembly tutorials to learn directly for the TI-84 Plus C (I'm not an assembly programmer yet).

It's been years I would to post those peanuts somewhere xD

I will obviously provide these kind of documentation as soon as possible. TI-84 plus C seems very sexy  ;)

Heya, I'm Matrefeytontias from Omnimaga, Cemetech and Espace-Ti, and Matref from Ti-Planet :)

I'm a z80, Nspire and computer programmer : I know Axe, z80 ASM, z80 hex (pre-compiled ASM in fact, it's better to program it when you don't have a PC near :P ), C for Ndless, and various PC languages such as C, C++, HTML/CSS/JS, Python, a very bit of Lua.

I'm currently in research of z80 documentation, so I'll look forward for ASM tutorials ;)

Thanks ^^ but I must say that I didn't achieve anything with Ndless for now, all of my programs are in project state. But hopefully it won't last forever ;)

Ok, so my name is Noël (noelthebest) NADAL, I live in Clermont-Ferrand (France).
I have a TI-83 Plus.fr (1.19) a Casio Classpad 330 and a Casio Collège 2D. I only program on z80s,  mainly in TI-Basic, and I've also learned Axe and Asm and Grammer. I haven't made many well-known programs, but still I have made a Paint, a Hangman, a +or-, and others games. I have also made Axetron, an Axe program to play with two calculators (that's nice, I'm quite proud of this).

Since 2011 I am here the TI-Concours's organisator. You might already know what it is, it's in fact an international programming contest, in cinq different languages, with many prizes to win. This year it is starting on 4th of march, so don't hesitate to subscribe. ;)

I hope this site will grow up, anyway :)

Normally I'd create my own topic, but since everyone is posting here, I'll continue.

I am Stefan Bauwens, a 17 year old male(:P). I came across this website by checking my followers on twitter. :D
I am mainly a 68k Basic programmer, but once in a while I do pick up a z80 calculator.

I am also on other forums such as Omnimaga, Cemetech, TI-Freakware, TI-Planet..
Omnimaga is where I post the most, and I'm the kind of guy who has a difficulty keeping up with several forums of the same subject, so I cannot promise posting here a lot, especially since the z80 are not my primary calculators. :P

Nice website Contra-sh!

Welcome stefan,

Nice to see you here.

I'm not very happy with the current forum design and usability. And I'm also spammed by poland/russian bots everytime that's really annoying (even with spam protection!).

I'm trying to add content to this website, especially coding stuff (resources, tutos and so on).

I hope I could give some useful informations ;)

Ah, I see.;
Yes, spambots can be really annoying. I too had it on my website, and no captcha really helped. Eventually I just disabled registering completely and said that if people wanted an account they should email me. However I doubt that'll be a solution for a forum. :/
