TI 84 exchanged watch battery, ram cleared; what now?

0 votes
Hi, my TI 84 plus displayed a note a few days ago that the ram was low or something to the extend. I figured I'd have to just exchange the battery, which is what I did. Little did I know that in doing that I would delete all my programming from the TI.

How do I get it back on there now?

when you get the error that your RAM is low, that means that you are running out of storage for all of your programs. what you should have done is move programs you were not using to the archive from the memory menu. if you do still use these programs, then i suggest downloading Doors CS 7 at "http://waa.ai/1WI".

unfortunately, once something has been deleted, it is irricoverable. sorry, but your programs are gone.

that battery that you replaced is actually meant to provide enough power to tell the calculator when it powers down whether it was a crash or if it was at the home screen. as such, pulling it out *should* have cleared the RAM. of course, i could be wrong.
