How could I set the size of a list?

You need to use the "dim(" keyword try pressing "2" then "sto->" then "2nd" and "Stat" (to go to "List") then move to "OPS" with arrows and choose "dim(". After this steps, press "2nd" then "1" and you should have something like :
2->dim(L1

Now you have a list with a size of 2.

First index is 1 so you can store 4 in first place like this :
4->L1(1)

L1 is not "L" + "1" it's the list token (on the 1 button)
